Science on the farm

Primary and secondary teasoil science testschers came together to explore outdoor activities at a workshop organized by the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Schools Partnership in October. Working with the OPAL Citizen Science project led by the National Museum of Wales, FACE trialled some soil science activities that schools could use to investigate the impacts of food production on the natural environment, and how farmers manage these. This topic is part of the science GCSE syllabus, and we’ll be developing resources to support it.
